In The Waldorf’s Palm Court during London Fashion Week, Paul Costelloe presented his Autumn/Winter 2025 collection. Drawing clear inspiration from equestrianism. Originally conceptualised based on a dressage-based showcase he proffered in the late 80s/early 90s whilst working with the late Princess Diana.

Statement fabrics from Ireland and Scotland were moulded to create stunning and strong silhouettes in an autumnal palette. Broad shoulders reminiscent of the power dressing era were accentuated by belted waists. Structured dresses with long socks and ankle length boots came flowing down the runway in Irish tweed, championing knitwear.

Depth and texture were centrefolds to fabric choices, which were offset by inclusion of pinks, reds and yellows. Accessories were born of collaboration with with jeweller, PK Bijoux. Trusted to craft contemporary pieces which infused the collection with tactile shimmer, the runway truly shone. Leather became a highlight throughout, integrated within the stylings - taking the form of saddle bags, gloves, and belts.

It was another well rounded collection by distinguished veteran, Paul Costelloe. Heritage and history harmonised to herald an era of edgy equestrian wear for the day to day, from the iconic Irish designer.
